Myth has it that some crews insisted on sourcing crates of black cherries and vanilla pods from Madagascar to put in their hold. The delectable fusion was claimed to be a remedy for Kraken sucker bites, the freshness said to take away the foul poisons.
During a formidable Kraken attack a singular barrel of spiced rum became infused with Dark Cherry & Madagascan Vanilla.
That lost barrel is now ready to be savoured, if you dare!

TASTING NOTES:

Colour: Dark amber with ominous glints of purple and copper
Nose: Profuse aromas of molasses, toffee and black cherry
Flavour: Deep cherry and caramel notes with sweeter notes of warming wood and vanilla lurking beneath

Such a tasty rum

I purchased this for my husband primarily, but he also offered me some and it is such a lovely rum to drink.

Excellent customer service
Delivery hampered by inefficient Royal Mail but customer service chased up on my behalf to track and deliver parcel

Very Morish.

When I saw this online, I knew I had to try it. I found the Coffee Kraken last year
and as a coffee flavour lover of practically anything that has coffee in it, Loved
it straight away.
The Black Cherry and Vanilla is equally as nice in a very different way. You can taste
the black cherry, but it doesn't shout out like the coffee
However it doesn't need to. You may think this one rather tame at first, but by the
end of your first glass you will be wishing it were full to the glass you had just drank
You can't really taste the vanilla, but who cares about that 😊
I've tried with a few different cola, Pepsi Max makes this sweeter than other brands
but by the end of the glass you will definitely have the after taste of sweet juicy black
cherries.
I am not normally a big drinker, Christmas time socially and that's about it, but having
tried this one I am now halfway through the bottle and so had to purchase another and
that will definitely join the Christmas stash. I should do the same with the other half a
bottle really. Out of sight out of mind. Trouble is it isn't out of sight at the moment,
so will have to do that.
This is definitely worth a try, vanilla if anything makes it very smooth, I guess if you wanted
you could drink it neat, but I think it's better with the cola, as meant to be drank.
